Thank you to everyone that stopped in to see me yesterday and today at The Artgarage Holiday Sale! 
During the Northwoods Studio Art Tour (a self- guided tour). Studio guests will find me explaining the art of printmaking, inking a collagraph and/or etching plates and discussing the inspiration behind many of the compositions.

My parents were Ball Room dancers, my father was trained as an instructor of Ball Room Dancing, so of course I’m in love with the art dance!
In honor of my parents and my daughter (also a dance performer), I’ve created a selection of etchings and collages that celebrate the art of dance!

The studio began taking on a nautical theme once I began wrapping the metal support poles with nautical rope. From that point on, the nautical and beach like atmosphere seemed to be the perfect theme to showcase my artwork.

Small original Intaglio etchings are hooked onto fishnets, offering studio guests a selection of original prints to snatch up as the move through out the studio.

I look forward to visiting the campers in the near future, when stop in at Wildwood Park and Zoo this Summer. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of Munsey and Boda the two Kodiak bears.
I’d also like to thank all the other guests that have come to my art studio this weekend! I was thrilled to have returning guests! We chatted about the conversations we had last year and learned more about each other during their second visitation at the studio.

The artwork showcased at the iMAGiNETHAT Art Studio ranges from abstract paper sculptures, charcoal drawings and original prints and collages to more realistic compositions of feathers, leaves and dragonflies.
There are original prints and mixed media that represent the more tech savvy personality. These compositions are created from segments of computer hardware and have titles that captures the essence of the materials and/or process of which they are created from, for example; Netscape and Etched In Time.
If you love bears, I have some wonderful greeting cards, coasters, photographs and photographic books of Kodiak bear cubs.

There is no question that I enjoy experimenting with new materials when creating my artwork, the image above is just one small sample of the result from my adventures through experimentation.
My ability to experiment in a creative fashion is demonstrated in how I’ve chosen to display some of my artwork. I discovered that this fishnet reflects my nautical themed studio setting , as well as serving a fun and functional way to display my smaller original prints.
A few new items this year include sun catchers created from handmade lampworked beads, funky stick fish with names like Sushi Sue and Wall-eye Sam. There are also some functional fishy’s titled Shell-Shocked (which will reflect your inner beauty) when gazed into while hanging on your wall.
